One ever-present condiment at the kitchen table was ketchup, and of course, it was Del Monte brand because my ninang worked there. Anything with a nice, steaming, kaldero of rice and ketchup ('ketsup' as my mom says) is delicious!

Try melting a teaspoon of butter with the ketchup and rice for some added savory goodness.
Lol..i'm half filipino and always eat rice and ketchup with everything. With eggs, sometimes melted american cheese, butter, i can go on for days.
I noticed so many other Filipinos love ketchup and rice as well...weird
